PENYEMBUHAN ISLAM DAN OTORITAS KEAGAMAAN: STUDI KASUS USTAZ DHANU
Abstract
This paper will examine the healing authority of the Ustaz Dhanu. The phenomenon of Islamic healing is important to study becouse of the rise of various alternative healing practices that are developing, both on television (TV), radio, pamphets, Islamic herbs, and also Islamic magazines. In addition, this research aims to raise a larger academic issue about healing Islam in Indonesia. And it is also expected to help the reader how to understand the practice of healing Islam in Indonesia which has undergone a process of commodification and religification.
Tulisan ini akan mengkaji tentang otoritas penyembuhan Ustaz Dhanu. Fenomena penyembuhan Islami ini penting dikaji karena melihat maraknya berbagai praktik penyembuhan alternatif yang berkembang, baik itu di televisi (TV), radio, pamphlet, herbal Islam, dan juga majalah Islam. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat isu akademis yang lebih besar tentang penyembuhan Islam di Indonesia. Diharapkan bisa membantu pembaca bagaimana memahami praktik penyembuhan Islam di Indonesia yang telah mengalami proses komodifikasi dan religifikasi.
