ETIKA KOMUNIKASI DAKWAH DI ERA DIGITAL

Abstract


The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the pattern of Islamic da'wah communication. Social media has become a new medium for spreading Islamic messages because it can reach people widely and quickly. However, the growth of digital da'wah also presents various challenges, such as the spread of religious hoaxes, hate speech, and the use of impolite language in da'wah communication. This study aims to examine the importance of communication ethics in Islamic da'wah in the digital era and its application on social media. The research method used is qualitative research with a library research approach. Data were obtained from books, journals, scientific articles, and various literature sources related to Islamic communication and digital da'wah. The results of the study indicate that Islamic communication ethics play an important role in the success of digital da'wah. Communication principles such as qaulan sadida, qaulan layyina, qaulan ma’rufa, and qaulan baligha serve as guidelines in delivering da'wah messages in a polite, truthful, and effective manner. In addition, the application of communication ethics can prevent social conflict and create peaceful and comforting da'wah in digital media. Therefore, communication ethics become the main foundation in implementing Islamic da'wah in the digital era so that it remains in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings.
